Interesting that Ruby was not only released but had the CFL back it up with a no play command.

Twas a good game, great result and fantastic atmosphere yesterday.

Great first quarter, ok second and then not much to go on, sloppy O-line and odd play calling.

Bo Levi was on, as was their kicker.

33k and a much improved Stadium Station was appreciated; their new bag policy was poorly communicated and led to hundreds if not thousands of women having to come back from the gate to check their bags.

Women and men have to check their purses and satchels? Is there a size rule or is it anything that is a "bag"?

It caught so, so many people off-guard, with them having to go check their bags and buy a $10 clear bag.

Commonwealth Stadium strongly encourages fans to not bring any type of bags, but fans will be able to carry the following style and size of bag, package, or container:

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12.” (Official Edmonton Elks team logo clear plastic tote bags will be available starting August 7th at team store outlets or at Shop Elks)
  • No buckles, grommets/hardware or décor can conceal any part of the bag. It must be all clear.
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (zipper bag or similar).
  • Small clutch bags, which cannot exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″ in size, with or without a handle or strap can
be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bags.

Are you in V2? We are literally on the other side of that entrance in W2.
