I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but does anyone know what's happening with the empty plot of land beside the EPS West Station on 100 Ave between 163 and 165 Street? I saw the sign now says it's been sold.

I love how 109 st south of the river Is just slowly plugging along. Nothing flashy, but slow/consistent development.

I've thought 109 could use a hotel. On that note I just had a look at Campus Tower Suite Hotel's reviews on Trip Advisor and it seems to rate quite well. There was a reply on there from the hotel GM stating they will be starting a room renovation project in 2023.

Well... there was an awesome proposal on the current Shoppers DM from ~15yrs ago or so now that was DENIED due to NIMBY folks around parking and height.

I think there would be a greater chance of something like that being built today. Look at the development on Whyte Avenue and Garneau.

Garneau theatre renovation is now replacing the south wood frame windows with modern windows in the same style.

I'd love to see a ~50 room boutique on the lot next to the Pampered puppy on 124st/103ave.
How is the LRT forcing them to close? It looks like vehicular access is maintained and there's a stop literally right by the store.
