Had a friend's sister who worked in the Eric Cormack and it was pretty bad 15yrs ago.

The brown brick building could become a character apartment, maybe even below market or family co-op.
 
I’ve been wondering what the GoA was ever going to do with this site as it’s been at least ten years since they moved everyone out. I actually saw a construction crew working in the Eric Cornack building this summer but I’m guessing must have just been basic repairs.

Do we know if the lot will be able to be developed once the LRT is done? I know a small portion of it is being turned into an alley turn-around (😑) but I'm reeeeeeally hoping the remainder of the lot can be subdivided or something and a nice modern brick mid-rise built. I assume it'll be empty for 10-20 years though, so that'll be a nice continuation of Edmonton tradition.
 
Paul Kane Park -- another that our one-time company Powell-Blackburn Design Ltd. worked on with Wayne Scott, Architect and his ex-wife, Landscape Architect, back in the 1970s. Happy to see that it still receives recognition as a people-place
