I tried Leopolds last night on whyte. Beljan did a great job with the building and the restaraunt is strong. No doubt it will succeed long term. That guy has a lot of restaraunts throughout the prairies and I get why.

Strong specials too.

Just had a chance to try La Petite Iza, and I cannot recommend it strongly enough. The rooftop patio has an incredible view of downtown, and because of the orientation there was hardly any traffic noise. The food was superb, and frankly given the 3 courses + cocktails + bottle of wine, the price was less than we were expecting.

We are booked for my next trip back Had a tour mid-construction and believe that this is the best patio in the city now.

Having not been to them all I can't confirm best in the city but it is definitely the best I have been to.

I for one would like to see Rotten Ronnie's reopen in Commerce Place.
In the same building, Sunterra should be reopening soon. I thought I heard staff working behind the scenes.

Well the last few months have not been kinda to downtown dinning. Quite a few place are gone and as offices start to come back there are going to be fewer options for the office workers.
