^of the 300 locations they still have, 165 locations are being rebranded, 107 are closing in 2024.

It looked very nice, but fancy tea places around here sure seem to have a lukewarm reception. It seemed to take forever to set up and open and never seemed busy when I went by, so I'm not surprised if they are packing it in.

Honestly would be amazing, but I doubt it. A T&T at ECC would be an interesting approach. A significant amount of people don't have access to the one in Calgary Trail (being in a death trap of a strip mall), and I'd wager that the large immigrant communities in Millwoods would love having rail/direct access to something like that. Not to mention the large international student population that lives in the core as well. What are the chances of seeing a new T&T in the old Sport Chek/Atmosphere space in ECC?
I'd personally be all for it, but I'm not sure how risk taking Loblaws is with something like this. Loblaws in Ice District seems to be doing well (from what I've seen) so maybe they'll see the potential in the area and the existing/future transit connections and go for it.
I'd also convulse on the floor (but with Chinese five spice) if this was something they did.
