Fully completed - Jasper OnEleven. I think overall it looks good. A bit too much of the copper for me, but a huge improvement nonetheless.

Also, the trees (which appear to be doing fine) and flower beds are such an improvement over what this stretch of Jasper Ave looked like previously.

Did a quick glance, all I saw was a piece on King Thunderbird Center.

 
Genuinely curious to read the 2050 case studies of our units/ha and very urban forms in the middle of nowhere, with poor transit, questionable 'walkability' and full-size (2x+)vehicles.

At least this is on a more surplus like site with LRT nearby, but it reminds me of so many planning decisions we have collectively made in the far flung areas.
 
Thanks for sharing this! The fact that 9 of the top 10 cities per capita are Canadian is really interesting and concerning at the same time imo.
Canadian cities have been building more high rise apartments than American cities relative to size for decades. IMO it's one of the biggest differences between Canadian and American cities.
