A project that definitely deserves its own thread. This one will have an impact on the eastern edges of Old Strathcona, particularly vis-a-vis population densification.

Casia Developments @Avenuer -- presentation by Mill 99 (name of the Project). I love these twin tower concepts with a centre couryard -- ideal for restaurant space -- which in turn can attract some Retail.
Looks good. I wonder how or even if they will secure the "public" plaza "after hours" from undesirable intruders.
 
I can't say for certain, @EdmTrekker, but, if they are able to find a viable Restaurant tenant, I could see them using the plaza for outdoor seating and a shared responsibility to keep the Plaza free of miscreants. There certainly would be eyes on the Plaza with tenancies facing on both sides. A good Eatery/Pub combination could operate 'til the wee hours of the morning.
