The little park just south of the High Level bridge looks mostly done. I like the seating and the bike racks. The lonely tree in the middle is going to be in rough with all the hard surfaces soaking up heat in the summer.

^Huge pocket for this tree the roots will have no issues. Better than any of the new trees along Jasper Avenue that seem to be doing really well.

Buddy of mine said his architecture firm in Vancouver was approached about some sort of activation project here. Idk if that’s happening or what. I’ll ask him.

Makes sense, but Melcor had continuous issues with their (private) park and now with the new patio poured off of the west side of the building, I wonder if they have plans for tenant uses and activation.

Sadly, as noted by the diagonal paths, this was a popular shortcut for those going to work from the south part of Downtown.
