Houses coming down? That's interesting. Could be just demolishing for a parking lot, or because the houses are condemned. Or could be to prepare for something else?

I was wrong. It's the Boyle Street area where these houses are coming down.

My favourite pics are always the ones with the photographer's own shadow. Especially the ones with the camera held high to snap a picture over the fence. It's like I'm there.

Ya, I know but I saw another picture on the LRT thread with hands stretched up. This one just reminded me of it.

* I just noticed this weird artifact, or something in the bottom/left of this first picture. It looks like two letters with an arrow pointing downwards underneath the letters? Fluorescent orange. Or is it just me...?

I think the shade structure designer here might have said, "let's wing it!" and maybe "I red it somewhere". Anyway the design should give the park a real lift.
