They also slowed down construction as they had to rezone their site to accommodate a reduced setback for the parkade ramp on the south property boundary.

I missed this, but apparently the request to adjust the zoning was denied by Council on September 22, based on the fact that the original rezoning was approved partly due to an adjusted setback from the building to the south, and reducing that setback and the landscaping and screening from that building goes against that original compromise.

I'm not sure where this leaves the development, as I don't know if they constructed the final level of the parkade based on the original zoning or on the assumption that this would pass.
