Sheesh. It'd be nice if people lived with more optimism and gratefulness. So much of public feedback is just negativity and complaining. Not even thoughtful critique. I hope the city can keep pushing forward with TOD near stations. We can't let people next to stations blocks some of the best locations for density. It'll hurt the whole city long term.
 
Well when looking at this project it's not just a minor change to the community but a complete overhaul of the community. I do like how it looks but I can understand as well the opinions and some of the push back. In some ways I honestly think that the area surrounding Bonnie Doon would be best to be redeveloped as was the proposal made for Bonnie Doon mall.

In some ways I honestly think that the area surrounding Bonnie Doon would be best to be redeveloped as was the proposal made for Bonnie Doon mall.
But the proposal for Bonnie Doon Mall is still bound to happen. The whole area between Strathearn-Holyrood-Bonnie Doon will end up being one massive TOD, which is awesome.
