Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Looks like that additional YUL flight came from YOW, as AC will no longer be offering YEG-YOW next summer.

Porter however has increased YEG-YOW to twice daily next summer, on top of WestJet's 6 weekly.
 
Great to see but I am wondering what is driving this change for a 285 seater - particularly for March.

Talking with my BIL in TO, Apparently there is a lot more traffic to YEG and will show in increased flights in the coming months. Porter seems happy here. Still would like to see increased YVR.

Tough month of November passenger wise at YEG. I think December will be a bit better but still a lot of work to be done.

Yes & I was 1 of the November Domestic passengers coming back to Edmonton YEG via Vancouver YVR from my Asia 2023 trip ✈️ .

This taken at Vancouver (YVR) Airport, on Saturday October 21 2023 while waiting to board the 2nd flight ✈️ of that day, after inbound from Edmonton YEG.

A Korean Air Boeing 787-9 pulling into Gate D68 & the plane that I was on to my Asia trip via Seoul Incheon (ICN) South Korea 🇰🇷,with an Air Canada Boeing 777-300 parked next to it at D69 going to Tokyo (NRT) Japan 🇯🇵.
