I gotta think that with recent rent increases in Edmonton (after years of nothing), massive influx of population to AB, and GST removal on new developments, it'd be surprising if they didn't get rolling on it sometime soon.

She is adding density to the skyline, but what she has to show, so far, scares me just as I envisaged when I saw the renders. Two positive aspects they have decided were height reductions to both towers and symmetrical window lines throughout the tower. At those heights, hopefully nicer aesthetics can drown that out in the future where they would just be supporting casts for density.

I wouldn't be opposed to the less than luxurious look of Langham's properties if they at least had 3 and 4 bdr units for families who are open to living in MFH and want to do it relatively affordably.
