That is part of designing a tower; the best are mindful of many aspects...
I'm surprised that's not the norm, although it doesn't conform to the city's vision of Jasper Ave and will have to be redone.Well at least we know some developers are doing the city’s job for them ie, new sidewalks, curb and gutters along with some new asphalt

Most BC municipalities force developers to redo or, in some cases, build new sidewalks. I think it was only in the past 5-10 years that they were forced to build it a certain way to fit neighbourhood plans ie with bike/shared use paths.
We can only hope8000+ sq/ft for retail. It would be nice if a number of CRU's will be created.
