Great to hear! When I was in the store earlier last year they were thinking about locating out of Strathcona to a location with more space and parking. Glad they are choosing to stay central!
What that neighbourhood really needs is to get rid of all the angle parking. It feels more like a power centre than a central urban neighbourhood. Narrow the streets, provide parallel parking, plant some street trees. That would change the feel of the area 300%
FYI Densglass sheathing is essentially densified fiberglass with a gypsum core (like drywall). So it typically comes in a milk-white finish. It is actually more economical than stucco so you might expect to see a lot more of it on structures in the future (we are already seeing it occurring regularly on new Edmonton buildings). Like cement plaster (i.e. stucco) panels it is classified as an EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish System) product. It helps with regards to modern Energy Codes (reflective and R-rated). Pay attention now! Test on Tuesday.
@Nosirrah Looks like, which proves that it can be used well - in this case with pops of colour, variation in massing, and variation in window placement and design.
