Hi everyone,

The DC2 didn’t go anywhere so we are working with a new developer who took over this site. We’re bumping up the height to up 6 storeys on this new rezoning and have just started working on building options.

Based on how policies and general attitude towards this type of infill have changed since the previous proposal that was defeated by Council, I don't think there's too much to worry with this one. It'll get approved.

This rezoning complies with the District Plan and District Policy. We push the envelope in our projects but we don’t roll the dice.

Well, here’s the update to this one…

Really feel like this should have been a 4-6 story one. We’ve got dozens of 8plexes being built in this area, we aren’t short on row houses. This is 2 blocks from the LRT, corners a church and school field, 1 block from a medical office building, along a bus route.

It’s fine. 38 units. But the original concept with 2 CRUs would have been way better.
