i'm pretty sure sun life place, 9888 jasper, the citadel, the winspear, the ram, the law courts, canada place, the convention centre, epcor tower and macewan - among many others - all consider themselves "core" and most edmontonians would concur. it's more than semantics when you start to exclude large components of your core constituency and public perception of your core constituency if you want to be an effective advocate...Semantics more than anything, but for me:
Core - CBD 99-103 from Jasper-104.
Downtown - DECL/COE or DBA - 95 or 97 to 109st from 97 to the south side of 105.
Central Edmonton -82-124 from 76-107ave
