Very nice little infill in Oliver! I want so much more of this stuff around the city.

I took a wrong turn on my bike yesterday, and I'm glad I did so. I've driven down 109th st. plenty of times and never noticed this gorgeous building.

I was around the B.Doon Mall/Whyte Ave bus stop yesterday (early Wednesday 28th evening) and witnessed this takedown.
The EPS tactical team was busy doing their thing so I grabbed a few pics. Not "shots", but pics.
I'm still not sure what it was all about, but I will post these anyway.

I just found it all so startling, maybe more so as I was super relaxed from a day off, which consisted of gardening, Fort Edmonton, and lastly a Float (sensory deprivation tank).
I was all "Zen-Like", then boom! Flash-Bangs, gunfire and battering rams, or whatever they use to persuade someone to leave a place when the person really doesn't want to?
It's really the first time that I've witnessed something like this.

Wanna travel back in time with me?
