Folks, I've merged the two threads into one to keep things tidy and deleted some of the unrelated posts - around Edmonton can encompass people and places - both being in Edmonton. :)

Definitely allowed to create new threads.

That said, if a thread already exists where the content should fit, use the existing thread. Just keeps it clean for navigation/categorization purposes for all users.
 
Who determines 'fit'?

Not being argumentative, but I'd rather have had that thread as its own.
The Rules of Conduct and moderators - to keep things organized by specific topics and avoid duplication of topics. Makes it easier for all users to find specific content instead of digging through multiple threads over time.

Let's lay this one to rest and get on with more photos, shall we? ;)
