It does make sense. However, the Sandman seems to have a bit too much of a bunker like mentality now that makes it less attractive, I hope that will change/improve.

Perhaps… but I’m pretty sure that the location of the tower’s elevators and stairwells and exiting etc. pretty much limit them to doing f*ck all even if that’s not their first choice.They will do f*ck all.
A bit more glazing and some new doors at grade and perhaps some painted brick but that's it I believe.Reminder, are they planning on doing work on the exterior too?
The current exterior is not inviting or attractive. If they cheap out on that they can kiss goodbye getting many people to come in to visit whatever they are planning to put in there.So gone are the original proposed exterior facade? That would be so unfortunate.
