Addition on the back? I'm intrigued.Expect a crane to go up for the addition to the back of Williams Hall later this year.

They will do f*ck all.If Williams Hall moves forward, I wonder what it would take for the Sandman next door to do something with their street-level facade? The SW corner of that block is one of the most bleak corners downtown.
It's an 'addition' to the north side of the building on top. The building abuts the lane right-of-way, so there is no expansion that way.Addition on the back? I'm intrigued.

Yup, especially since they said NO to Williams Hall's request to add a pedway connection to their building. They will do f*ck all.
Sandman (parent Northland Properties) owns Chop (among many other chains), so they have a strong incentive impede guest access to competing restaurants. The food hall at Williams Hall would be direct competition and the connection would really offer little value in return. It is petty though, considering guests will still have access to the pedway system and - by all accounts Williams Hall - via MNP tower.Yup, especially since they said NO to Williams Hall's request to add a pedway connection to their building.

Perhaps… but I’m pretty sure that the location of the tower’s elevators and stairwells and exiting etc. pretty much limit them to doing f*ck all even if that’s not their first choice. They will do f*ck all.
