The MTL game was a tough loss. Our receivers seemed to have butter fingers and were overthinking things.

I get the weather warnings, but another exceptionally tiny crowd.

Losing doesn't bring people to the game.

Once they start winning people will want to actually pay to come see these guys play again.

Jones won't be fired until they figure out the ownership situation. They don't want to saddle a potential group with having to pay his salary if he's fired before they take possession.

Let the new owners fire him and they can worry about the salary payments for him being let go early from his contract.

Another L for the eLks, but a decent back and forth match at 39-36 against Toronto.

We played well, had solid offensive numbers and much to take away in terms of positives, but we need to start putting it together and getting some Ws.

I am really looking forward to a new owner and post-Jones era.

I hope they don't go back to the Eskimos, Elks is a better name overall really. I just got an Elks jersey last year too lol

Ya I doubt name change back is going to bring in fans and help them win, which are the problems.

Ownership, on-field performance, too large of a stadium and lack of overall experience is.

The Riverhawks and Stingers have sold out recent games. Even if these teams aren't winning, the Elks should be taking notes.

If they could win a few games, that really would help at this point. Edmonton for years had no problem having a respectable crowd in the stadium when it was half its current size. Of course then team performance was much better too.

Most of the season ticket holders I know, many 25+yrs, did not renew this year.
