As long as the sidewalks are properly cleared in the winter, there should be decent positive usage.
Looks like some moderate grading work will need to be done to tie in the park edge with the alleyway. Not sure if that can happen over winter, meaning these barrier may remain until the spring.
Yes the whole park was full this afternoon, nice to see. There were also peace officers on patrol. One observation: I underestimated how nice it is to have grass downtown. I don't remember when Churchill used to have it, but whether it's for pets, kids playing soccer, or just lying down and relaxing, having a public park with ample grass is really key to enjoyment. It'll be a huge draw.
And just imagine, it's probably going to keep getting busier as we get more residents and foot traffic around the area.
I could see an ice cream truck doing good business.
