Developer consults with neighbours on future development of former Ellerslie Rugby Park

The developer of a future project on a prime piece of south Edmonton real estate welcomed neighbours Monday evening to talk about what they'd like to see built there.

One of the first survey jobs I worked on was when the rugby club wanted to subdivide the parcel of land to sell acreages. That was back in the early 70s.

It's possible they're on a standing order with the City of Edmonton and were the low bid amongst the firms on this list.

This is the most likely scenario, GEC is on that list as well and is why you see them on a bunch of COE projects.
