That entire stretch of 101 St from 105 Ave to south of The Brick is a Third World shithole. The new hotel that is supposed to replace Urban China may help a little bit, but more needs to be done.
I wonder what it could be; the city website doesn't show any major development permit applications within a 100 meter radius of this property.Saw this commercial or mixed use building going up in Chinatown at 98 St and 108 Ave:

I met with the folks building the current 5 MW solar farm at Scotford earlier this year before they kicked off construction on the project. Lots of momentum in that industry right now in Alberta.![]()
