General Infill Discussion

When people say we need more suburban sprawl because “not everyone wants to live downtown”…. This is the crap I’m talking about. So much capacity for increased density within the city that isn’t even in urban/central areas.

Stop greenfield expansion until more of these sites are redeveloped.

Recommendations and implications on reducing the maximum number of dwellings on an interior site in the RS Zone.

Options and recommendations to reduce the impact of height on adjacent properties in the RS Zone.

Advise-level engagement that draws upon past engagement and feedback.

Options and recommendations to support maintenance and retention of trees on private property.

Where will that lost capacity go? Oh right: urban sprawl.

Will there be a subsequent motion to upzone near LRT stations?
Tbh, I’d like to see a bit more high density around the LRT than just basement suites in every single new house.

Gentle density is great, but does make transit a further walk for more people and takes away from the vibrancy of clustered residential/commercial.
