^ Agreed. It's ones like these that are leading the way in infill consternation. That other pic of the backyard in Crestwood going around is fast becoming the face of this year's municipal election.

I rode my bike through a good portion of Glenora today. I came across 9 infills + 3 vacant ready to build lots with no development signs yet.
Four of the 9 were SFH (1 unit) and the other 5 builds were 8-plexes.

Three of the five 8-plexes were on one-street close to 142st in the west part of Glenora.

If you look closley, anti-Andrew Knack stickers are placed on this development sign (Straight Outta CrestHood).

This 8-plex looks like it will fit in nicely. There is a 4 single car garage complex I believe going in the back.

And the back - lots of lot remaining.

Ew. Not a fan at all of those types of builds. There’s on close to me. They look so cheap and out of place.

We need more Ndura type designs and less Everfour, rise homes, and whoever is doing this trash.
It should be interesting to see how the one down the street from this one turns out, which will be at this property: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZvXX1zpW7Yg3ykZs7. There's a shared-use path and quick LRT access to Southgate station from the back alley, so it doesn't surprise me that these are starting to be built in this neighbourhood. Also, it's relatively easy to bike downtown or to the university.

The only other infill build I've noticed riding through the area over the last year is this one, across the school. Though it might just be a replacement single-family home.

A few others are being built in Lendrum across from the U of A farm up the road, too.
