General Infill Discussion

This isn't a super long mid block lot so I'm not thinking there will be any space provided for resident parking.

Too bad they didn't keep the huge elm that was at the very front of the lot pictured below on the right.

The design looks a little unusual, eh? The side profile almost looks like a stable.

Unrelatedly, I recently saw a Garneau lot (10958 87 Ave NW) approved for an eight-unit lodging house. I would imagine it's meant for students?

That is a heck of an exterior design, very few windows. Maybe it's being built using modular tech?

It's weird that their single family houses look pretty decent, but for the multi family they apparently lost all interesting in making them look good.

I know it's different markets, but you don't necessarily need to spend a ton of money to have a simple but attractive design

^ Ian's fever-dream (except his is the 6-storey version). Corbusier was thinking outside the box, I'll give him that. I will go a bit further than @constance_chlore -- I have a hate-love relationship with le Corbu. Parisians would have strung him up by the nubles if this had ever come to pass.
The owners of two inner corner units would sure see each other a lot.
