The Board N Brew Cafe on 103 St south of 100 Ave is now permanently closed.

Their lease was up, no renewal. The never-ending road construction on 100 Ave and 103 St likely didn't help matters.

Too bad, I hope it will re-open somewhere else. It seemed to be doing well the few times I went, and the pricing was better than some other board game cafes.

In addition to Station Park, I think Scotia Place downtown is now being renovated to have a food hall. I believe the old YMCA space is supposed to be one also, although not sure what is happening with that one.
Maybe they could have one in the Stantec building too, that seems already set up for some type of food space on the second floor.

The ones in Europe are super cool, not outrageous and a true new social experience that's family friendly.
In Prague they were the bees knees.

EPIC market first opened as 5th Street Food Hall on 105th st near MacEwan in 2021, was a cool place to try different food. Not sure what is happening with the original location now, can't seem to find it on google.Edmonton must be a few years behind the times. Where's our food halls?

Trust me, you wouldn't feel this way if you go to a market like the Time Out Market in Lisbon: https://www.timeoutmarket.com/lisboa/en/
The food is affordable and some of the stalls are run by Michelin Star chefs. We ate there multiple times, with kids in tow, and it was cheaper than a restaurant. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

If you mean the tourist central market in Prague-there is very little there and out of 10 stalls - 5 served the identical fare. Better off eating at the cheap lunch spots locals go.

A food hall at Stantec should have been open by now. I'm perplexed as to why it's taking so bloody long to do something with that space.
