Omakase isn't really 'sushi' or 'fixed', but rather 'of the day' or 'you decide'.

But yes, it will be interesting to see the response to it. The JW crowd will love it, but can it become the destination it will need to be?

Oh trust me, omakase is my go-to, whenever possible and particularly when I travel. Not a cheap way to enjoy sushi, but it's far more pleasant than commodity sushi, or the emerging Canadian way of slathering rolls etc. with flavoured mayonnaise.
