General Food & Dining Thread

Kinjo is opening in South Edmonton common at the former Moxies. They are one of my go to options in calgary, so I am excited to see how they do here.

When it comes to Japanese cuisine, I'm going to dine locally at a central location (e.g. Mikado, Kyoto, Japonais, etc) instead of venturing into that SEC hellhole to eat at a Calgary-based chain. So fuck Cameron Corporation.
 
^do yourself a favour and hit up Shoyu on 109st/100 or Wasabi in Lendrum.

I drove by last week and saw the construction bin.....so I assumed Moxie's was reno'ing the space. Oddly, Moxie's is opening up another restaurant on the south side somewhere really soon.
 
Seeking creditor protection is not necessarily a bad decision/process and can actually permit restructuring to allow for a brighter future as mentioned in the article.
 
Was at Felice this afternoon. Their cappuccino is good, the staff are awesome and the layout is fantastic. It was my first visit and it won't be my last.

I watched this several weeks ago... it combines foodie knowledge with Edmonton Frontier-ism Entrepreneurial Spirit (EFES) and for a youtube effort is reasonably well done (certainly made me hungry).
