General Food & Dining Thread

As a grandson of Polish immigrants, I always have time for Central European cuisine -- but man, do these guys have some big shoes to fill. Zenari's was one of my favorite spots downtown.
Well, you will be happy to know that Elisa Zenari is taking over the operations of the cafe inside Zocalo in Little Italy from Aspen Coffee Roasters. It's going to aptly be named Zenari's Little Italy.
 
Alas, the location has a cafeteria vibe and zero soul. I wonder if it would be viable to have a patio in the summer...
I go by regularly and can see a good effort has been made to make the space warmer and more welcoming. I feel a bigger problem is it is located on the quieter side of an office building that is not that full.

I don't know if a patio would be viable here, but if so it could help.
 
Continental treat moving into the German Canadian club location on Roper road. They’ve gone from whyte Ave and Jasper ave to a semi industrial area in 6 months. That club did used to have a really good food service back in the day, maybe there’s a shot for them there. Not optimistic.
