Continental Treat Fine Bistro
💔Edmonton, We Need Your Help This Thanksgiving, after over 40 years of serving love, laughter, and generations of families, we were ordered by the City of Edmonton to vacate our Jasper Avenue home...www.facebook.com
Looks like Continental Treat were evicted from their Jasper Ave location too?
Now I'm getting a cruller craving. The last couple of times I've been to OEB (not just downtown), I've noticed a downward tick in quality compared to when it first opened. Honestly, it's very hard to justify a visit to OEB when Rosewood is a block away and beats them at every possible level.
This is THE perfect location for themView attachment 690644

^^ I've always found that OEB was about 2 or 3 bucks more than it should be. But what stopped me from going was the incessant rushing you out the door. I get they want to turn over the tables as quickly as they can, but getting prompted to settle the bill before I've finished my meal or coffee... yeah I'm done with that. Rosewood is better, and Craft's breakfasts are unknown/underrated if I'm in that area.
Yes, that's correct. Sometimes I eat breakfast late on the weekends. Are you sure Craft is open for breakfast? I was under the impression they only had weekend brunch starting at 11 am.
Rosewood is exceptional! Their roast broccoli sandwich, which I realise sounds super weird, is one of those things I continue to dream about after having had it. So damn good. And those crullers?^^ I've always found that OEB was about 2 or 3 bucks more than it should be. But what stopped me from going was the incessant rushing you out the door.
