I can't help if the "landmark" building and empty affordable housing promises from the previous developer were more appealing.

What's the name of the project?

Varsity - the idea is to have a podium that fits into the heritage context and a minimalist design above.

Wow, this is one I didn't expect to see come back from the dead! I love the scale and I think it'll suit Whyte Ave nicely. Like you said, it's in the early stages of design so the look will most likely become more detailed with time, correct? I can't wait to see the final design, that's for sure

Lower half looks really nice. But the upper portion is nothing special - but not terrible by any means. Overall, I like it!
