Renovations have been taking place in the Mezzo's leasing building (mostly drywall has gone up) and today a rezoning notice went up. Not sure why it needs to be rezoned to decrease maximum regulations.

Getting something built on this lot would be fantastic. Add in The Hat and that is a lot of new people living in the heart of Old Strathcona. (Would have preferred 12 storeys to 6, but whatever is built will be very welcome!

A building that is not as tall might fit in better between the two existing historical buildings to the north and south of this lot. But I just want something nice built on this lot.

Don't mind the ground floor with the masonry. Tower portion meh. I guess if it turns out like Raymond Block it shouldn't be too bad.
