Hearing rumors that Montana's is closing all 18 branches in Alberta possibly everywhere. Kelsey's is also closing.

I've not eaten in either of those restaurants before, but I take it they are outdated and the corporation would rather start from scratch then try to revive them. I'd guess we will see more "tired and old" business models follow suite. There are so many new interesting food concepts popping up over the last few years and the consumer trends shifting for the better.

More bad news ahead.
Rumor has it that Bed Bath & Beyond will be pulling out of Canada in early 2020. " BB & B " has 12 Alberta stores with 4 located in Edmonton.

@Daveography They have been in Edmonton for a bit now. Huawei's current office is at 75 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 6T9

Pier 1 is closing nearly half of their North America stores, there are rumors that they will file for chapter 11 bankruptcy . They have 4 Edmonton locations
