Indeed. The problem is the recommendation makes potential changes more fluid than previously. There is more considerable risk beyond COVID itself of whether new restrictions may be enacted on both ends of travel (Canada closing its own border again or EU countries suddenly closing borders). Travel was already dicey, but we are definitely moving in the wrong direction right now.

Ruh-Roh... Canada extends UK travel ban Guess we won't be seeing any direct London flights return any time soon.. Sad since I truly think that this is the one direct flight Edmonton truly needs to build and maintain to even stay a viable business hub in the long run...

The Euro destinations are due to their location 50% closer to Europe then YEG (shouldn't be a surprise to anyone).
