Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Don’t know that is the reason the domestic passenger numbers that are down the trans border and international are up quite a bit. It doesn’t make sense to drive down the highway for a flight you can get from here.
Unless it's significantly cheaper.

747 bus was full emptying at Century Park and on our way now. 8 standing. Half travellers half workers. Time to add 30 minute service during daytime. And at least 25 people waiting at the 747 stop at the airport.
Was among them last Monday. Travelled to Puerto Vallarta via Denver and Houston (first time connecting through the States - fun!). It's good to see the airport getting legit busy again.

Agreed, time for half hour service, wish when they designed Edmonton's 747 they had also borrowed their fare system as well as the route 747.

The fare was a day pass, good in the whole city, much more convenient than out 5.00 per trip, no transfers...

Five times weekly in the winter? That is a big get for YEG. Wonder if it'll be increased more during the summer or whether it will be 5 times weekly year round. Regardless, great news.
Yes & too early tell for S25, as each year all airlines✈️make frequency changes on some flights routes. And It depends on Aircraft availability too.

Best action is to express this on 311 and/or with your city councillor regarding 747 frequency and fares system.
I take 747 sometimes and have done so, too.
