I feel like Regency is fortunate, and I guess the community, that the construction project is going on next door to provide the dirt for them to fill up this hole. Would Regency even be doing this if it wasn't for that opportunity? Or would they have just left it as it has been the past few years?

Probably not. I bet the neighbor developer proposed it as having this leveled graded and seeded is in their best interest.

Well whoever is behind the initiative, it does look better. If it is not going to be developed soon, some nicely maintained grass would be even better.

I would be over the moon if I were the site super on this Leston project. Talk about a logistical nightmare if they didn't have access to this site for a laydown!

Development on the cheap. Well, they got someone to fill in the hole for them, I wonder if they got some to pay for the signage to cover the empty lot.

I'm ok with this to 'screen' the vacant lot. Nooooow update the fencing around the old BMO site. You know...one of the most PROMINENT locations. Come on Regency....do it.

Everyone here has a valid reason to be mad about the maintenance of the vacant sites. You can’t be mad at them for not building multimillion dollar towers in the sky while you sit at home and get your daily cardio through your fingers. Sucks when buildings don’t go up right away but it should also be understandable and respected. I don’t have much respect for regency after the BMO site bullshit but I’m not gonna act like they didn’t just top off their tower a few months back. Give them time it doesn’t take a genius to realise they are selling their other properties to generate capital for this one.
