Any news on a start date for CWB's new tower? The announcement was made over 1 hear ago now. Is there any reason to worry that this one is not proceeding?

Lets just pray the fears of contagion in the banking sector are overblown then worry about this tower.

Also would love to see a small coffee shop or beverage service next to Plant Life. Tim's is in Edmonton Tower but would be nice to have something right on the plaza.

Not to stir up the coffee debate again (see what I did there?) but I would prefer to see a Blenz in ICE District. I haven't tried Deville yet but that would also be acceptable.

I'm with Ian on this: doesn't matter which one, we just need one.

My personal preference would be: Starbucks (Reserve), DeVille, Blenz, Starbucks (regular store)

Starbucks Reserve would be a dream come true, for several reasons, but we'd be served with any of the ones brought up.

I think that CRU is on the small size, but really any beverage option would do. Doesn't even have to be coffee, although warm drinks would be great in winter.

I think it would fit in nicely with the vibe of Ice District, or even a corner spot in City Centre with a street entrance.

Love that spot and happy to see it coming to Canada.

ICE would be an ideal spot for it, but my guess is that it will head to WEM first... but this would be a logical secondary location if not for South Edmonton Common.

Or Windermere...

Does this thought fall under the we can't have nice things because it's Edmonton category? I hope not.

I enjoyed it in Las Vegas and LA to, but for those of us who can't get away a lot now it will be nice to have here.
