I go to Commerce Place often for Sushi Ya, seems to be holding it's own especially when school is in at Enterprise Square it gets busy. They have a few vacancies but the ones that are still there have survived.
He was one of the few places open during covid. When I was workin out of the office. Would still go back if I was working downtown again.

Commerce Place's food court consists of Sushi Ya, Lorenzo's (their spinach and feta pizza is to die for), Subway, Canton Wok and Edo Japan. It is one of the busiest places for lunch in the downtown core.

CWB basement had a few offerings that closed, no?
Yes, I believe at one time it did too. However, I was thinking of the ones in the Standard Life Building and Enterprise Square, in addition to the Scotia Place one.

Also the one in Stantec, which I suppose technically never closed because it was never quite opened, but despite that seems to regularly attract a good crowd to just sit down and have their lunch.

I assume Herrington's is the same flower business that recently closed at West Block, and just moved their operation to CCM?

They cleaned up the vinyl that’s covering the old Bay windows. I think they painted over the old design, looks better than the state the original vinyl was in. But is quite hard on the eyes.

Do you have something to to with ECC? I see alot of columns on the roof that could maybe be turned into a tower, or something shorter like Stationlands?
I have no direct connection to ECC but it’s my understanding the project was to include a number of office towers so those kinds of provisions could well have been made. What is now the Delta was to have been the first office tower until the office market collapsed and it was converted to a hotel (which explains the “too deep for a hotel” floor plate, poor lobby and street access for a hotel, insufficient meeting rooms and food service options for a hotel etc.).
