I'm no forensic scientist but can someone explain this to me? The guard stabbed himself, with the crack head as a witness?

Or he had a heart attack or some kind of medical incident after what happened.

They didn't charge the suspect with assault so I imagine that's what may have happened to the security guard.

Good that it wasn't a dt crime incident, still sad overall. I remember the social media frenzy over this one.

It's inconclusive, but certainly could be a heart attack or the like due to the interaction, stress, reaction to a weapon or fight.

I went for a walk to the downtown GoodLife Fitness after work, then walked home.

The warm weather seems to have brought out the riffraff in greater force than before. The front of Commerce Place resembled a scene from Mad Max. Next door, CIBC security were busy tending to one homeless man who was on the ground. Fire trucks and ambulances were driving around everywhere and blaring their sirens. There was one homeless guy in a bus shelter who slurred threats at me as I walked by (I ignored him).

Thanks to this shit show I witnessed today, I'm now considering relocating my gym to the GoodLife in the Brewery District, which means I'll need to drive.

Obviously not many people around while this was going on - like anybody.
