In the basement of that little 2 story was the home of Edmonton's first after hour punk club. SNFU, KD Lang, Moe Burg plus others all hung out there and played at times.

I am glad this building is still here. Even though it is not that big, it fits in nicely with the character of the nearby buildings. We have few contiguous blocks of older buildings in the downtown core.

Me too. I thought that was fun about the photo - the contrast of the finely aged brick at street level against the young glass behemoths in the sky.
