11414-11430 76 Avenue NW - 6 storeys - proposed

I noticed subtle changes in the window arrangements. Initially, the earlier windows had some shorter than the majority and now to this unisonly overall. One of my pet peeves for multiple levels as it makes the structure distorted especially on highrises.

Updated Rendering from SketchUp: This is the proposed interface with the McKernan-Belgravia LRT station.

Yes, just yes. I love that the design actually acknowledges the train station right beside it rather than ignoring it.

The public hearing is scheduled for April 24.
The agenda package was published last Thursday.

McKernan Community League supports the project. Haven't heard from Belgravia CL.

Here we go again!
Here’s what Belgravia is busy doing. Trying to rally people from other leagues to fight the city.

I won't pretend public consultation is always well done or effective, but this "not adequately consulted" claim is pure, provable BS. The city has been engaging with leagues and the EFCL on the zoning bylaw renewal since the project's inception, and numerous changes have been made based on those consultations.

"not adequately consulted" is code for "I won't rest until this is watered down to essentially the status quo because I don't like change."

“We have not be consulted” often just means “you have not done what I wanted” haha.

Demo is just about finished!
