Only NX and Streetside are condo-style townhomes. All the rest are freehold so far. There are no HOA fees despite what listings say.

Yes - the MUP connecting Blatchford to the east side of 118 ave is complete! You can also drive through (maybe not officially but it’s been done by certain people…) by going up to 119 ave, crossing the LRT tracks then driving back down to Blatchford road. Convenient for those coming and going...

I don’t really know why Landmark is selling slower than other builders. The price point isn’t that different from similar products in the neighbourhood. They are the only builder using air source heat pumps. I would have thought that would be more attractive to some people but who knows…

Ah! Misunderstood the school part. It seems like admin is now focused on the right thing by shifting its focus a little more to the east side.

Admin is looking at the market area by the LRT as the next stage of development (probably should have happened sooner, but the next best time is now…). And the school decision isn’t really in their hands.

My guess is that this is a purely political move by Paquette/allies on council. Admin is scheduled to come back to council every fall for progress updates and they are already exploring acceleration options that came in a report less than a year ago, so this is really unnecessary. But asking for...

My understanding is that these were removed to allow for builder activity - this wasn’t a case of a car knocking them off. Not sure why they didn’t put them back in after… but the point stands that these bollards are a strange choice.
