I was in the area yesterday and pleasantly surprised to see work going on at the Streetside properties. They must feel confident about the demand if they think paying the 1.5x holiday pay is worth it.

I went and pulled the most recent satellite image that I could find to get a better sense of the build out. This is from Nov 8 2024.

Where did you find that? I've been trying for so long to find an alternative to Google maps/earth, given how out of date they are.

if you want anything up to date, it costs a bit of money. Lots of services out there that scan through all of the available imagery or even let you order a satellite to take a picture for you.

What I would really love to hear and see happen is NAIT to begin building in Blatchford lands to further see connections between this residential, the LRT and the school.

I believe there was an RFP earlier this year for a NAIT residence. Not sure where that is at, but it would be great to see! I have not really heard anything else about those lands in quite a while.

Sad to see this building go, there were so many potential opportunities to integrate it with the new neighborhood. I understand why it has to happen but it's still a real shame.

Is there any news on the four lots with potential mixed use? Would be nice to see first commercial spaces here. I think they can be seen in the video just posted.
