    ICE District Phase 2 | 149.95m | ?s | ICE District Prop.

Very cryptic, could be an announcement for almost anything. I have no idea what the "tom" means, just an abbreviated version of tomorrow? NHL Awards is my best guess. It was originally expected that both the 2025 NHL Draft and Awards Show would take place in LA but when the official...

    Stationlands Residential Towers | 90m | 25s | Qualico | DIALOG

It's kind of hard to tell but in the second image it looks like they will be using that white in the same sort of way they have on Tower 1 on the opposite side of the building, if you take a really close look you can see the strip of white at the end in the render. Perhaps its too much grey...

    Stationlands Residential Towers | 90m | 25s | Qualico | DIALOG

We've become so accustomed to developers lowering the number of units as projects proceed its awesome to see one go the other way, a great vote of confidence for Downtown. I hope this development continues to go well for Qualico.

    Downtown Real Estate

Thats excellent news, 102 St. Centre is a very central parcel of land and in dire need of help, Rohit has shown to be capable. I want to add a quick disclaimer that I understand the current market and I'm not expecting a big tower here any time soon or possibly ever but I thought I'd share an...

    Mill Woods Town Centre Redevelopment | ?m | ?s

Interesting, and I like it. Synergy is Edmonton based and has done a fair share of work around here. The part I like is Diamond Schmidt is Ontario based and looking at their portfolio you get a sense of high quality. Seems similar to Maclab bringing in a nice firm from Toronto like they did with...

    Mill Woods Town Centre Redevelopment | ?m | ?s

It is a big parking lot yes, but back when that void you see in the middle of the photo was a Zeller's it didn't seem as unreasonable. When Target took over the space it was a big failure, the mall always felt like it had an inevitable doom but that helped speed up the process for sure.

    ICE District Phase 2 | 149.95m | ?s | ICE District Prop.

In their original plans you can see on Page 1 of this forum they do recognize it as a historical building and claim they want to restore it, it can be seen in the renders. In more recent plans you can see on Page 6 they again recognize it as a historic building. Of course when we do get...

    Edmonton Oilers

Refs last night were fine, they let some calls go both ways, stayed consistent in what they were calling especially calling hits that got up higher than they needed to be on players faces which not all refs do. Maybe a ticky tack penalty on McDavids slash but even if it wasn't much it was there...

    Edmonton Oilers

10 in a row, a new franchise record for the Edmonton Oilers! Now just 1 point behind LA for a divisional spot, LA has lost 8 straight.

    Capital Line LRT

Sorry if this has been posted before but it just popped up on youtube for me, thought it was pretty cool.

I trust Skinner to play well in a tandem role, I think we can expect good results when he plays 40-45 games in a season. As for the playoffs I'm not sure what to expect, goalies are very unpredictable. Campbell will get the call back up to play in a game this week or next week, we'll see how it...

    Edmonton Oilers

Desharnais' play as of late has been excellent but yes I agree that he most likely won't keep that up for the entirety of the year. As for Sean Walker he's played very well with Philly so far this season but just like Desharnais I don't expect that level of play to last, Walker is best suited as...

    Edmonton Oilers

He (McLeod) proved all of us wrong and I'm glad he did. Also glad the coach felt he would! Oilers win 3-1 against the Jets, we stuck with it all night and continued to pressure until Nurse broke through with our first goal 53 minutes into the hockey game, didn't look back after that. Skinner...

    Edmonton Oilers

We played very well last night, goaltending still looks rough but we got the 2 points which is what matters. Gagner, Janmark and Erne have all played well recently, if Hyman is ready to go for Winnipeg I agree McLeod should be the one out of the lineup.

@erudyk_29 Agree with your points about goaltending, and yes Hollands drafting has been very poor here. Ironically in 2016 if we had Holland and took the player he wanted out of place we would've ended up with Matthew Tkachuk. We had his jersey ready and everything but changed plans when...

    Edmonton Oilers

@TravellingChris I just explained to you that it's nearly impossible to formulate a good trade for us involving Draisaitl due to his clauses and the leagues overall cap situation. Also there are not that many elite goaltenders in the league, even if you're being generous and loose with rating a...

    Edmonton Oilers

@erudyk_29 I wish we could make those moves but they are very unrealistic. If you want to move Campbell, it's going to cost you a 1st and more, the 1.5 million retention doesn't change that fact especially when every other team in the league is aware that we are desperate. Patrick Kane has...

Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

I know we are realistically still quite a ways away from all the TOD projects alongside the SE line but yes imagine when even just 2 of Strathearn/Holyrood/Bonnie Doon/Millwoods build themselves out, ridership will increase greatly. Regarding WEM I always park near the Simons, usually not too...

    Edmonton Oilers

I was a big fan of Jay Woodcroft, it might sound crazy but I do believe he was our best coach since Glen Sather. I think our current record is a reflection of a very unlucky month more-so than his abilities as a coach. Holland himself mentioned he didn't feel that Jay had lost the room, and...
