I'd be ok with this space being programmed as it is for the next long while, especially if they could start building on any other part of their vacant properties nearby.

Well good or bad, it does stop any tents or homeless accupying the space.

Unfortunately many of the vacant spaces need high end or national or international level tenants in and around ice district to be able to afford to set up shop. The empty store front tax would be ideal for condo buildings that may have enough tenants in their residential part of the building...

I know this would have been difficult but I wish they could have (or maybe still can) get some section of road way opened in its final configuration before the snow falls.

We need a developer that will spend the money on buying one of the empty lots near closer to 97st. I agree 6 to 8 storey buildings max, with possible mixed use would be nice. I wish the area in front of the old farmers market building had more to attract pedestrians.

On one side I'm quite happy bout the size of WEM and don't care too much if it basically remains as is. On the other hand it's unfortunate that WEM isn't even the largest in North America anymore. Now we have enough stores but should the mall expand and add some new amenities?

I think the only unfortunate thing about this development is that it doesn't go right to the side street.

Interesting video. The visuals are great and give a good idea where they're at and what is in progress. Strange music though, to me sound a bit dark and to me isn't painting a positive emotion to the area.

And to see something significant on 109 for Norquest would be great to see. I just hope that if they plan future development for that and perhaps adjacent sites that it happens sooner than 10 or more years from now.

There are so many people here that are self entitled enough to put themselves ahead of an LRT train, hence the accidents.
