I am not convinced Station Lands will have any transformative impact on downtown. As of right now I know which one of the two areas I would rather live for a variety of reasons. Time will tell I suppose.

Looks awesome!! What a shame nobody is out using the rink. Do you know if it is being used very frequently? If that sweet set-up isn't being taken advantage of, I'm not sure what is going to start attracting people to the plaza.
Is this confirmed? It just seems a little strange given there is already the ice district plaza and that they would be converting this massive space to potentially use once a year if the Oilers make the playoffs.
