This is the old EERS building right? I remember volunteering my time there during the Fort Mac Wildfires. I'll never forget many donations came in from Edmontonians, nor the efforts of all the people in that place that went beyond the one single emergency I was apart of.

Truly was an anchor of the community.

Can someone help me out and explain how that car got on there? I don't see a gap in that fence anywhere... is there another entrance?

Construction fencing also pops apart pretty easily. you can move a section in 2 seconds.

On one hand a beautiful new park opens up in the downtown core getting rid of a bunch of parking lots. On the other hand another building is lost and another parking lot is opened. I wish there was a way to set a moratorium on any new parking lots within the downtown core.

Council passed a bylaw last Dec that I thought stated no new parking lots would be allowed downtown.
